Liquid Granite Coating is a water-based multi-color granite coating solution which emulates granite stone. At a fraction of the cost and time required of actual stone products, which gives designers great flexibility in creating designs that can adapt to the building concept. This coating is great for both interior and exterior use. It may be applied to different substrates with various specialized primers. The liquid granite also is a thick weather-shield with inorganic stone materials combined with a high-technology water resin which gives an authentic natural feel to natural stone.

STANDARD APPLICATION

01 Ensure that the wall is already skim coated, dry and even.

02 Coat the wall with a layer of primer to conceal the old color and help achieve better coverage with the new coating.

03 Layout the design joint lines and apply the desired accent color (Optional).

04 Apply masking tape along the design joint while applying the pattern coat. (Optional)

05 Apply the pattern coat using a spray gun evenly to achieve the texture. Depending on the design criteria this may require 1-2 coats for the best results

06 Apply the pattern coat with two coats using a spray gun.

07 Gently remove the masking tape to reveal the design joint (Optional).

08 For the final step, apply a water-repellent topcoat, which must be re-applied periodically to maintain color vibrancy.
